Ten athletes.
Ten weeks.
One race.

I'm building Woohoo! — a structured HYROX training app — and I'm taking on ten athletes for a free, fully-coached ten-week race build. In exchange, you give me honest feedback that shapes the next version of the app.

From the founder

Why I'm doing this

Woohoo! is a HYROX training app I've been building for the past year. The programming, the periodisation, the in-app coaching cues — all designed around how people actually train for a race.

Before I scale it, I need ten athletes to take it through a full race build with me — week by week, session by session. You get personal coaching for free. I get honest feedback I can't fake with surveys.

That's the trade. No upsell at the end. No payment plan in week 8. If you finish your race, write me a paragraph about what worked and what didn't — that's all I'm asking.

What the ten weeks look like

Built on the Woohoo! Performance plan — adapted to your race date, your level and your weakest stations. Four structured sessions a week, plus one optional Zone 2 run.

Phase 1 · Assess
Weeks 1–2

Baseline 1km run, 1k row, 1k ski. Wall ball capacity test. We name your two weakest stations and the run pace we'll defend on race day.

Phase 2 · Build
Weeks 3–5

Threshold blocks. Compromised running off every station. Strength endurance for sled / burpees / lunges. Volume climbs, intensity stays controlled.

Phase 3 · Specific
Weeks 6–8

Race-pace work. Two half-race simulations at goal pace. Weak-station blocks. This is where your race time gets decided.

Phase 4 · Peak
Weeks 9–10

Full taper. Race-week protocol — sleep, nutrition, pacing plan. Final pre-race call. Then you race.

What you get

For ten weeks, included

  • The full Woohoo! iOS app with your personal Performance plan
  • A 10-week race build, adapted weekly to how you're recovering
  • Weekly 1-on-1 check-in (call or WhatsApp voice — your choice)
  • Direct WhatsApp access between sessions for quick questions
  • Two race-pace simulations with debrief
  • Race-week protocol: taper, fuelling, pacing strategy
  • Pre-race call 48 hours out
What I expect

Commitment, not perfection

  • A race already booked, between 8 and 14 weeks out
  • 4 training sessions per week, every week — minimum
  • Log every session in the Woohoo! app
  • One short weekly check-in (15–20 min)
  • Honest feedback on the app and the programme as you go
  • A short written reflection after race day
  • Permission to share your journey (photos, splits) — anonymous is fine

Quick questions

Why is this free?
Because I need real athletes putting the Woohoo! programme through a real race build. Feedback I can use to ship a better v1. There is no upsell, no payment plan, no "premium tier" reveal in week 8.
What's the catch?
You need to actually show up. Four sessions a week, weekly check-in, log everything. If you ghost after week 2, you're taking a spot from someone who'd use it. I'll be selective for that reason.
I'm a beginner — can I still apply?
Yes — if your race is at least 10 weeks out and you can train 3–4 times a week. We'll start on Fundamentals and build from there.
My race is in 6 weeks, can I still join?
Probably not Cohort 1 — the build is designed for 10 weeks. Apply anyway and tell me your race date; I'll be honest about whether the timing works.
What does "feedback" actually look like?
Short weekly notes (5 minutes max), one mid-cohort call, and a written reflection after race day. That's it. No spreadsheets, no surveys.
What if I don't get a spot?
I'll tell you within 48 hours — and offer a free trial of the Woohoo! app when it launches, plus first access to Cohort 2.
